If you are a home/EU resident you will receive a TDA training bursary paid in monthly instalments. For 2009/10 this bursary is £9000 for D&T and ICT and £6000 for music and science. More information about training bursaries and other financial support can be found at www.teach.gov.uk

The fees for Leeds SCITT PGCE courses is currently being agreed for 2010/11. As soon as we have confirmed this information we will update this website. As with other ITT providers, our fee and bursary provision is subject to the approval of our access agreement by the Office of Fair Access (OFFA).

Employment prospects for newly-qualified teachers of the subjects offered are very good. You can expect a starting salary in excess of £21,000. In addition, on entering the profession, all newly-qualified teachers will receive a golden hello of £2,500 (with teachers of science receiving £5,000).
